army guys are are always in need of socks (evan wears size 15 shoes), home-made goodies, and encouraging notes/letters! shipping is cheap b/c of a deal the army has w/ the usps: you only pay to send the package to california, and the army pays to send it the rest of the way to afghanistan - awesome!! send some love to evan and his troops!
Tips and info for sending stuff to afghanistan:
- it takes about 3 weeks for stuff to get over to afghanistan. but do'nt let that stop you from sending food. evan and his guys will eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you send :-)
- don't send chocolate or other stuff that will melt in the heat. it's 100+ degrees almost constantly over there.
- don't send any stuff that makes loud noises or looks like a gun (ie: water guns)....that's a BAD idea.
- always be sure to include a note/letter. those mean more than any amount of food or clothing you could send!
